Town of Morden News Release
The MCSLA is hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Banquet in conjunction with the kick-off for Volunteer Week as proclaimed by the Province.  Each sports group in our alliance have been asked to submit names of their volunteers.  This is a small thank you to them for all the time and effort they contribute to the coaching, officiating, organizing, etc. to their sports group.  If you know of someone in your group who stands out and you think should be recognized please call your president and let him/her know.  Without these dedicated people your programs would not go on.  As of February 2008 the groups in the "alliance" are Curling, Figure Skating, Golf, Gymnastics, Morden Community Service Department, Morden Minor Ball, Morden Minor Hockey, Morden Minor Soccer, Taekwondo, and the Western School Division.  If your sport / leisure group is interested in being a member of the MCSLA please call Joe Wiwchar (MCSLA President) at 822-5682.
