Greetings!
A new fiscal year has now started for Sport
Manitoba and with that, comes the release of our new Sport For Life
Grant Manual.
As many of you will now know, Sport Manitoba has adopted the Canadian
Sport For Life (CS4L) and Long Term Athlete Development
(LTAD) model and we are now in the process of revising our
programs so that they reflect this model. The alignment of our
programs has resulted in some changes to our grant manual in both
content and formatting, therefore we ask that you take the time to
review our new manual and please make sure that you are filling
out the 2011 application forms when submitting you grant
applications.
This month you will also recieve a special
grant edition, which will detail all of our grants. Hard copies
of the grant manual are available from our office and they can also
be downloaded from the Sport Manitoba website by clicking HERE.
Feedback and suggestions for future
issues are welcome. We can even help you share your news and
information, too. Call the Central Office at 822-6735 for more
information.
If you find the information in our eNews valuable please
forward it onto your friends, family, and colleagues.
Yours in Sport,
Leanne Traynor & Phyllis Boulton
